While she has past experience making all kinds of products and is open to custom orders, there are a few things Kristi does just for Kristi. But sometimes she shares.
She went and got herself a laser. And learned leather working. And figured out how to hand paint her designs on a leather canvas. Then she turned those works of art into finely crafted leather guitar straps and jewelry.
Kristi now brings all that experience to the table with Kristi Carson Design. She believes in making heirloom quality products that are not only functional and beautiful, but personal. Everything she makes is made one at a time in her Kentucky studio, with her two hands and often with some cool technology and tools, just for YOU. As demand has increased for her custom work, she now shares the studio with her husband Steve. He is becoming quite the stitch master, among other things. Wait until you see what these two will cook up next....
As functional art, a piece should look great, but above all, it must function well. Whatever its purpose, it should be well made, with thought and detail given to the entire piece, from beginning to end. When done right, a hand crafted creation can last long enough for your grand-kids to fight over years from now. Maybe even your great grand-kids.
